The invention relates to the technical field of tower cranes, and particularly discloses a building tower crane climbing device which comprises a sleeve frame and an introduction platform, the introduction platform comprises a bearing plate and a pushing plate, one end of the bearing plate is hinged to the lower portion of the introduction side face of the sleeve frame, the other end of the bearing plate is hinged to the pushing plate, and a torsional spring is arranged on a hinge shaft of the bearing plate and the pushing plate. The torsion spring can unfold the bearing plate and the pushing plate, and the bearing plate and the pushing plate can be folded by compressing the torsion spring; a winch is arranged on the upper portion of the sleeve frame, the output end of the winch is connected with the leading-in platform through an inhaul cable, a pulley is arranged in the middle of the bearing plate, a pull ring is fixed to the propelling plate, the inhaul cable winds around the pulley and is connected with the pull ring, and the winch can fold the bearing plate and the propelling plate through the hinge retracting inhaul cable and pull the bearing plate to the leading-in side face of the sleeve frame. According to the technical scheme, in the process of propelling the standard knot to be introduced, only the winch needs to be controlled to fold and hinge the inhaul cable, operation is relatively simple, and safety is relatively high.
