The invention discloses a centralized chassis domain control framework and method. The framework comprises a sensor, a chassis domain controller and a drive-by-wire chassis executing mechanism. The chassis domain controller is configured to comprise a signal processing module used for determining vehicle and road state information according to sensing signals of the sensor; the target state module is used for determining a control target according to the vehicle and road state information; the control strategy decision module is used for determining a first control instruction according to the vehicle and road state information and a control target; the failure/redundancy/fault-tolerant module is used for determining chassis fault data according to the sensing signal of the sensor, and correcting the first control instruction through the fault data to obtain a second control instruction; and the drive-by-wire chassis execution mechanism is used for executing the control task according to the second control instruction. The embodiment of the invention provides a centralized chassis domain control framework which is good in structure and high in expandability and can be widely applied to the technical field of chassis.
