The invention discloses a hybrid power transmission device for a light commercial vehicle. The hybrid power transmission device comprises an input shaft, a mode switching clutch, a driving motor, a motor driver, a generator, a two-gear power gear shifting and speed changing mechanism and an output shaft. The generator, the driving motor, the mode switching clutch and the two-gear power gear shifting speed change mechanism are all coaxially arranged, the structure and the process are simple, and spatial arrangement of a commercial vehicle is facilitated; the mode switching clutch is arranged between the generator and the driving motor, so that the space of the winding end parts of the two motors can be fully utilized, and the power density of the transmission device is improved; the hybrid power transmission device has the pure electric drive working condition, the hybrid power working condition, the engine direct drive working condition and the brake energy recovery working condition, the requirements for large-torque starting and wide transmission range of the light commercial vehicle are met, it is guaranteed that the engine works in a common efficient interval, the fuel economy is improved, the hybrid power transmission efficiency is improved, and the service life of the light commercial vehicle is prolonged. The economical efficiency of the whole vehicle is improved.
