A battery temperature control device is provided with a heat medium circuit (10), a control unit (50), a battery temperature acquisition unit (53a), and a common flow path temperature acquisition unit (54a). The heat medium circuit circulates the heat medium by connecting the battery heat exchanger (11), the outside air heat exchanger (12), the heat medium pump (13), and the flow rate adjustment unit (14). The battery heat exchanger exchanges heat between a battery (B) and a heat medium. The external air heat exchanger is connected in parallel with the battery heat exchanger and exchanges heat between the heat medium and the external air. The flow rate adjustment unit adjusts the flow rate of the heat medium in a first path through which the heat medium flows via at least the external air heat exchanger, and the flow rate of the heat medium in a second path through which the heat medium flows by bypassing the external air heat exchanger. Furthermore, in the case of a low-temperature environment, the operation of the flow rate adjustment unit is controlled so that the flow rate ratio between the flow rate of the heat medium in the first path and the flow rate of the heat medium in the second path is adjusted so that the battery temperature becomes a preset reference temperature.
