The invention discloses a buffer protection structure for a throwing type robot, and relates to the technical field of robots. While effectively impacting the ground to absorb energy, the safety of an internal effective load is well protected, and the throwing type robot can complete a preset work task. The buffer protection structure comprises an aluminum shell energy absorption buffer module, an aluminum honeycomb energy absorption module, a rubber-spring buffer module and a tail end parachute speed reduction module which are fixedly connected in sequence. The device has the functions that 1, the aluminum shell of the effective load buffers and absorbs energy; (2) the aluminum honeycomb of the effective load absorbs energy and buffers; 3, rubber-spring buffering and damping of the effective load; and 4, opening and decelerating the parachute. The multi-stage buffer structure is arranged by means of the landing throwing type robot, and the multi-stage buffer structure has the advantages of being compact in structure, small in weight, low in cost, high in reliability and the like, and meets the buffer requirement of the throwing type robot.
