The invention discloses a vehicle charging state monitoring system and method based on the Internet of Things technology, and belongs to the technical field of the Internet of Things. The system comprises a new energy vehicle charging platform, a charging area judgment module, a real-time monitoring prediction module, a charging initial recommendation module and an adjustment module. The output end of the new energy vehicle charging platform is connected with the input end of the charging area judgment module; the output end of the charging area judging module is connected with the input end of the real-time monitoring and predicting module; the output end of the real-time monitoring prediction module is connected with the input end of the charging initial recommendation module; the output end of the charging initial recommendation module is connected with the input end of the adjusting module; the output end of the adjusting module is connected with the input end of the new energy vehicle charging platform. The charging state of the new energy vehicle can be monitored in real time, and an accurate charging point location is provided for a user.
