The invention relates to a tire capable of inhibiting sidewall surface stress. The radial section of the tire comprises a sidewall and a tire bead which are connected with each other; the lower part of the sidewall is a rim protection part; a protruding part is arranged on the outer side of the rim protection part. The orthographic projection, perpendicular to the radial section, of the outer side of the upper part of the sidewall is of an arc structure, and the corresponding circle center is positioned on the inner side of the sidewall; the orthographic projection, perpendicular to the radial section, of the outer side of the lug boss is of an arc structure, and the corresponding circle center is located on the inner side of the sidewall; the orthographic projection, perpendicular to the radial section, of the bottom side of each lug boss is of an arc structure, and the corresponding circle center is located on the outer side of the sidewall. On the whole, the curve of the outer side of the tire side is optimized, the tangential stress distribution condition is improved, the tangential stress borne by the rim protection part is not much larger than the circumferential stress borne by the rim protection part, then the outer side face of the rim protection part cannot be broken apart in the circumferential direction through the tangential stress, and therefore circumferential cracks are restrained, and the service life of the tire is prolonged. And the safety and the service life of the tire are effectively improved.

    本发明涉及一种抑制胎侧表面应力的轮胎,轮胎的径向截面包括相连接的胎侧和胎圈;胎侧的下部为轮辋保护部;轮辋保护部的外侧设有凸起部;胎侧的上部的外侧垂直于径向截面的正投影为圆弧结构,对应的圆心位于胎侧的内侧;凸起部的外侧垂直于径向截面的正投影为圆弧结构,对应的圆心位于胎侧的内侧;凸起部的底侧垂直于径向截面的正投影为圆弧结构,对应的圆心位于胎侧的外侧。整体上,对胎侧的外侧的曲线进行优化,改善了切向应力分布情况,使得轮辋保护部受到的切向应力不会远大于受到的周向应力,进而使得切向应力不会将轮辋保护部的外侧面沿周向掰开,从而抑制了周向裂纹的产生,有效地提高了轮胎的安全性和使用寿命。
