The electric steering column adjusting structure is high in adjusting speed and simple in structure, a steering column is arranged on a support in a sliding mode, a shell of a motor is connected with a movable outer pipe of the steering column, a pipe core of the steering column and a shaft core of the motor are arranged in parallel, a worm is coaxially and rotationally arranged on the motor, and the worm is connected with the shell of the motor. The worm gear and the worm are meshed to form a worm gear and worm speed reducing mechanism, a gear is coaxially arranged on a gear shaft of the worm gear, the gear is in meshed transmission with a first rack fixed to the support, and the length direction of the first rack is parallel to the direction of a pipe core of the steering pipe column. Compared with the prior art, a lead screw nut mechanism is omitted, a worm and gear reducing mechanism which is necessary is used as a transmission mechanism to drive a gear to be in meshing transmission with a first rack arranged on a support, so that the steering column is pushed to do linear reciprocating motion, the motor and the steering column are coaxially arranged, and the occupied space is saved.

    本发明的目的是提供一种调节速度快且结构简单的电动转向管柱调节结构,支座上滑动设置有转向管柱,电机的壳体与转向管柱的移动外管连接,转向管柱管芯与电机轴芯平行布置,电机上同轴转动设置有蜗杆,蜗轮与蜗杆啮合构成蜗轮蜗杆减速机构,蜗轮的齿轮轴上同轴设置有齿轮,齿轮与固定在支座上的第一齿条啮合传动,第一齿条的长度方向与转向管柱管芯方向平行布置。与现有技术相比,本发明省去了丝杆螺母机构,利用本身就必需的蜗轮蜗杆减速机构作为传动机构,带动齿轮与支座上设置的第一齿条啮合传动,从而推动转向管柱做直线往复运动,且电机与转向管柱同轴布置,节省占地空间。
