The invention provides a passenger state modulation system for a passenger vehicle. The passenger state modulation system is used to predict an event affecting the passenger state (e.g., carsickness) prior to the occurrence thereof, and to use the prediction to implement preemptive intervention on a vehicle active subsystem.
