The invention discloses a hoisting device for building construction. The hoisting device comprises a positioning platform, a driving mechanism mounted on the positioning platform, a transmission mechanism matched with the driving mechanism and a clamping mechanism matched with the transmission mechanism for use, the clamping mechanism comprises a first clamping jaw assembly and a second clamping jaw assembly which are used for clamping objects, and the driving mechanism drives the first clamping jaw assembly and the second clamping jaw assembly to clamp or release the objects at the same time.
