A thrust-reversing aircraft (1, 1 ', 1' ') is described, comprising: a fuselage (2) having a first longitudinal axis (A) and in turn comprising a head (12) and a tail (13); a pair of wings (3) respectively arranged on opposite sides of the fuselage (2), carrying respective rotors (5) and generating lift values; and a pair of engines (4) operatively connected to the respective rotors (5); each rotor (5) comprising a main shaft (9) rotatable about a second axis (B) between a helicopter configuration and an aircraft configuration; and each engine (4) is inserted between the fuselage (2) and the corresponding rotor wing (5) along the extension direction of the corresponding wing (3).
