The tire pressure detection system module includes a sensor body having two arcuate surfaces adjacent to the opening. The tire valve includes two arcuate portions and a distal end portion. A plurality of gripping teeth is disposed on the arcuate portion of the valve. The distal end portion of the valve is disposed in the opening of the sensor body and arranged such that the arcuate portion of the valve is coupled to the arcuate surface of the sensor body. The valve is coupled to the sensor body by interaction of the base and grommet such that the grip teeth interact with the arcuate surface of the sensor body to maintain an orientation of the valve relative to the sensor body.
