The invention belongs to the technical field of tower cranes, and particularly relates to an intelligent robot for tower crane maintenance and an intelligent tower crane, the intelligent robot comprises: a data acquisition unit arranged corresponding to tower crane components and used for acquiring operation condition data of the tower crane components; the maintenance unit is arranged corresponding to the tower crane component and is used for providing maintenance; and the control unit is connected with the data acquisition unit and the maintenance unit, and is used for controlling the maintenance unit to realize corresponding operation instructions according to the running state data acquired by the data acquisition unit. By means of the structure, the maintenance strategy can be output according to the operation condition data of the tower crane, then parts which may have faults are maintained at any time in a targeted mode before the faults occur, the faults are eliminated in the bud, and the faults are reduced.
