The present disclosure provides a non-linear energy sink for damping a vibrating structure, comprising: a mass block; the components are used for providing combined rigidity and comprise components used for providing linear rigidity and components used for providing non-linear rigidity, and the components are connected in parallel; and the component for providing combined damping comprises a component for providing linear damping and a component for providing non-linear damping which are connected in parallel, and the component for providing the combined rigidity and the component for providing the combined damping are connected between the vibration structure and the mass block in parallel. The invention further provides a spacecraft with the nonlinear energy trap. By means of the nonlinear energy trap, a good vibration reduction effect can be provided for a vibration structure.
