The invention provides a parking fee automatic payment method and a vehicle machine system. The method comprises the following steps: triggering an environment detection module to detect a vehicle environment image; triggering an information capturing module to capture a to-be-analyzed picture from the vehicle environment image in response to the situation that the environment detection module detects that the vehicle environment image contains the barrier gate rod; the information capture module sends the to-be-analyzed picture to a third-party payment application; and the third-party payment application analyzes the to-be-analyzed picture and then initiates a payment request to a corresponding third-party payment platform so as to complete automatic payment of the parking fee in the third-party payment platform. According to the payment method provided by the invention, the user does not need to bind the license plate and the parking lot when entering the parking lot, and does not need to use a mobile terminal to carry out any operation related to parking fee payment when leaving the parking lot, so that the user operation is simplified, the parking fee payment efficiency is improved, and the traffic jam is reduced.
