The present disclosure provides an autonomous vehicle and infrastructure assisted robotic system for end-to-end parcel delivery. A method for controlling a robotic vehicle in a delivery environment includes deploying the robotic vehicle from an Autonomous Vehicle (AV) at a first location of the AV in the delivery environment. The method further includes locating, via the robotic vehicle controller, an initial location within the global reference map using the robotic vehicle awareness system; receiving a 3-dimensional (3D) enhanced map from the AV; and locating an updated location in the delivery environment based on the 3D augmented map and the global reference map. The robotic vehicle perception system senses obstacle characteristics and generates a unified 3D augmented map using the obstacle characteristics sensed by the robot. The method further includes generating a dynamic path plan to the parcel delivery destination using the unified 3D augmented map, and actuating the robotic vehicle to the parcel delivery destination according to the dynamic path plan.
