Provided are an in-vehicle wireless communication device, a wireless communication system, and a wireless communication method that are expected to suppress an increase in the amount of data transmitted and received by wireless communication between a device mounted on a vehicle and a device provided outside the vehicle. The vehicle-mounted wireless communication device according to the present embodiment is mounted in a vehicle, and is provided with a wireless communication unit for performing wireless communication with an external device provided outside the vehicle, and a processing unit for performing communication processing, and the processing unit determines the amount of communication of an in-vehicle network provided inside the vehicle. Communication amount information related to the determined communication amount is transmitted to the external device through the wireless communication unit, and data transmitted from the external device at a size corresponding to the transmitted communication amount information is received through the wireless communication unit.

    提供能够期待抑制搭载于车辆的装置及设置于车辆外的装置之间的通过无线通信收发的数据量的增大的车载无线通信装置、无线通信系统及无线通信方法。本实施方式所涉及的车载无线通信装置搭载于车辆,并具备与设置于上述车辆的外部的车外装置进行无线通信的无线通信部及进行通信所涉及的处理的处理部,上述处理部判定设置于上述车辆的内部的车内网络的通信量,通过上述无线通信部向上述车外装置发送判定出的通信量所涉及的通信量信息,并通过上述无线通信部接收以与发送的上述通信量信息对应的大小从上述车外装置发送的数据。
