The present invention relates to a method for preparing a rubber composition capable of improving the physical properties of a final product. In order to achieve the purpose of the present invention, the present invention provides a method for preparing a rubber composition, comprising a step for preparing a polymer-dispersed rubber composition in which a polymer is dispersed in a solution phase in a rubber, the method comprising: in a rubber preparation step, a step for preparing a polymer-dispersed rubber composition in which the polymer is dispersed in a solution phase in the rubber; and a step in which a rubber composition containing a monomer, a solvent, and a catalyst is subjected to a polymerization reaction, the residual monomer is recovered, and a polymer is introduced into the remaining rubber solution after the residual monomer is recovered. When the prepared rubber composition is applied to a tire tread composite material, the durability, the grip performance and the low rotation resistance can be improved, the excellent braking characteristic and the low oil consumption characteristic can be obtained, and the wear resistance can be improved.
