A joint for connecting a central wing box and a bay of an aircraft. The joint includes a bend corner member having a first portion shaped to abut against and connect to the central wing box, a second portion shaped to abut against and connect to a first side of a deck of the bay, and an intermediate rounded corner portion located between the first portion and the second portion. A first support member is attached to the central wing box at a first pin and supports a first side of a second portion of the bend corner member. A second support member is attached to the web of the bay at a second pin and supports a second side of the second portion of the bend angle member. A first support member is positioned on a first side of a deck of the bay, and a second support member is positioned on an opposing second side of the deck.
