The invention belongs to the technical field of battery thermal management, and provides a multifunctional battery thermal management system and a working method thereof.The multifunctional battery thermal management system comprises an air conditioning system and a battery module, and the air conditioning system is connected with the battery module through a main switch and a throttling valve which are sequentially connected; the air conditioning system comprises an air storage tank which is connected with a main switch; the battery module comprises a plurality of battery branches, each battery branch comprises a plurality of batteries which are connected in sequence, and each battery is connected with a nozzle; a branch temperature sensing valve is arranged between each battery branch and the throttle valve; the temperature sensing valve, the gas storage tank, the nozzle and other devices are added, the composite function system meets the refrigerating capacity or heating capacity needed by the electric automobile, and meanwhile the cooling effect of the battery is achieved by means of the characteristics that a working medium is not prone to combustion and the temperature is rapidly reduced after the working medium passes through the throttling valve; and the flame-retardant and explosion-proof functions under extreme conditions are realized.

    本发明属于电池热管理技术领域,提供了一种多功能的电池热管理系统及其工作方法,包括空调系统和电池模块,其中,所述空调系统通过依次连接的总开关和节流阀与电池模块连接;所述空调系统包括储气罐,所述储气罐的连接总开关;所述电池模块包括多个电池支路,每个所述电池支路包括多个依次连接的电池,每个电池连接一个喷嘴;且每个所述电池支路与节流阀之间设置有支路温度感应阀门;本发明增添了温度感应阀、储气罐和喷嘴等设备,这套复合功能系统在满足电动汽车所需制冷量或制热量的同时,利用工质本身具有不易燃烧和经过节流阀后温度迅速降低的特性,实现电池的降温效果,并实现极端条件下的阻燃和防爆功能。
