The flame-retardant and environment-friendly front door right switch panel of the new energy automobile comprises a panel body and a protective coating coated on the panel body, and the protective coating is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 30-40 parts of water, 35-65 parts of unsaturated epoxy resin, 15-25 parts of dicyclopentadiene, 1-3 parts of a coupling agent, 7-10 parts of flame-retardant filler and 1-3 parts of a dispersing agent. The unsaturated epoxy resin and the dicyclopentadiene are pre-crosslinked through the coupling agent, when the unsaturated epoxy resin and the dicyclopentadiene are burnt in open fire, unsaturated double bonds in the unsaturated epoxy resin and double bonds in the dicyclopentadiene are crosslinked to form a macromolecular compound, and the macromolecular compound can form a carbon skeleton after being further burnt; and the dispersing agent enables the flame-retardant filler to be uniformly dispersed on the carbon skeleton, so that the action area of the flame-retardant filler is increased, and the flame-retardant property of the automobile panel is improved.
