The invention relates to a slat arrangement (2) for a wing of an aircraft (58), said arrangement (2) having a movable leading edge slat (4) and a connecting section (6), the leading edge slat (4) comprising a slat leading edge (5) and a slat trailing edge (10), the connecting section (6) comprising a receiving opening (16) for receiving the slat trailing edge (10), the connecting section (6) comprising an overhang (12) having a free end (13), the slat trailing edge (10) is designed to translate under the overhang (12), and wherein the tail region (18) of the slat (4) is configured to elastically deform by means of the overhang (12) when the slat trailing edge (10) is moved into the receiving opening (16).
