The invention relates to passenger discomfort measurement during vehicle maneuver. Systems and techniques for passenger discomfort measurement during vehicle maneuvers are described herein. A set of biomechanical measurements of an occupant in a vehicle may be obtained. A subset having members corresponding to the pain of the passenger is selected from the set of biomechanical measurements and a search is performed in time on vehicle actions corresponding to the subset of biomechanical measurements. The future application of the vehicle action is then modified to reduce the passenger's pain.
