The invention relates to the field of charging piles, in particular to a charging pile data collection method and system, and the method comprises the following steps: collecting data information of a vehicle, the data information comprising vehicle color data information, vehicle model data information, license plate data information, vehicle weight data information and vehicle battery data information; storing the data information in an information base; and analyzing the data information in the information base based on a vehicle management database to obtain an analysis result. According to the charging pile data acquisition method and system provided by the invention, the vehicle information of the electric vehicle is acquired in real time, so that whether an illegal modification problem exists or not is judged.
