The invention provides a vehicle anti-theft starting authorization method and device, and relates to the technical field of vehicles. The method comprises the following steps: a vehicle-mounted terminal receives a remote control instruction, and performs security authentication processing with a vehicle entering and starting system according to the remote control instruction; after the safety certification is passed, the vehicle-mounted terminal sends an engine control request to a vehicle entering and starting system; and the vehicle entering and starting system enters a specified authorization state according to the engine control request and feeds back a corresponding state processing result, and the specified authorization state is used for controlling the engine to start. The method is suitable for the application scene that the user remotely limits the starting operation of the vehicle engine, the rights and interests of the user can be better protected, and the user experience is improved.
