According to the monitoring method and device and the electric vehicle, the target energy recovery torque is monitored, the target energy recovery torque can be the maximum recovery torque or the actual recovery torque, it is guaranteed that the actual recovery torque in actual application is within a reasonable range, it is guaranteed that braking of the vehicle is within an expected range, and safety is guaranteed; on the other hand, it is guaranteed that the maximum recovery torque is within the allowable range of a battery and a motor, and the safety of vehicle parts is guaranteed.
