The invention relates to a vehicle mode switching method and device, a storage medium and a vehicle, and belongs to the field of vehicle control, the method is applied to a gearbox control unit in a vehicle of a P2P4 framework, and the method comprises the steps of responding to a received first request for switching a vehicle in a pure electric rear drive mode into a pure electric four-wheel drive mode, the target rotating speed is sent to a hybrid power system control unit of the vehicle, so that the hybrid power system control unit adjusts the actual rotating speed of a motor of the vehicle according to the target rotating speed; an oil pre-charging signal is sent so as to carry out front axle clutch oil pre-charging on the front axle clutch; and in response to a received front axle clutch closing request, a front axle clutch is controlled to be closed, and the front axle clutch closing request is sent under the condition that the hybrid power system control unit determines that oil pre-charging of the front axle clutch is completed and the actual rotating speed is equal to the target rotating speed.
