The invention relates to autonomous system endpoint assistance techniques. Various systems and methods are provided that provide assistance at the end of an autonomous system trip. The system may include an autonomous system configured to transport a user; a first sensor coupled to the autonomous system and configured to provide a sensor flow of an environment between the autonomous system and the endpoint; and an endpoint assist processor mechanically coupled to the autonomous system. In an example, an endpoint assist processor may receive and process a sensor stream, may detect and track a user in an environment in response to the sensor stream, and may provide status information to a first mobile device based on the sensor stream.
