The invention relates to a tire tread formulation. The invention relates to a tire comprising a substantially annular carcass having an outer circumferential tread adapted to contact the ground, two spaced apart beads, at least one ply extending from the beads to the beads, and a sidewall extending radially from the tread to the beads and connecting the tread and the beads, wherein the circumferential tread comprises: (1) from about 10 phr to about 70 phr of a solution styrene-butadiene rubber having a glass transition temperature from about-85 DEG C to about-20 DEG C, a bound styrene content from about 10 to about 40%, (2) from about 0 phr to about 50 phr of an emulsion styrene-butadiene rubber having a glass transition temperature from about-65 DEG C to about-45 DEG C, and (3) from about 0 phr to about 50 phr of a styrene-butadiene rubber having a bound styrene content from about 10 to about 40%. And (3) from about 20 phr to about 60 phr of a cis-1, 4-polybutadiene rubber having a cis-1, 4-isomer content of at least about 95% and a glass transition temperature of from-90 DEG C to-110 DEG C, and (4) from about 20 phr to about 60 phr of a cis-1, 4-polybutadiene rubber having a cis-1, 4-isomer content of from about 95% and a glass transition temperature of from-90 DEG C to-110 DEG C; wherein the tread comprises from 50 phr to 250 phr of a rubber reinforcing filler comprising precipitated silica (amorphous synthetic precipitated silica) and from about 2 to about 10 phr of a rubber reinforcing carbon black wherein the precipitated silica is treated with from 3 phf to 6 phf of a silica coupling agent.
