The invention relates to the technical field of metal plate forming, in particular to a metal plate thermal forming mold and method, a ship shell and a ship with the ship shell. The die comprises a first female die, an electrode and a forming assembly. The first female die is provided with a cavity and a circumferential molded surface arranged around the cavity, and an insulating layer is arranged on the outer surface of the circumferential molded surface; the electrode is electrically connected with the metal plate and is suitable for electrifying the interior of the metal plate and heating the metal plate; when the die is in a closed state, the forming assembly makes contact with the circumferential ring molded surface and extrudes the metal plate, so that the metal plate is matched with the cavity of the first female die in shape. Compared with a traditional mold, the thermal forming mold and method provided by the invention have the advantages that more cost and energy are saved, the danger coefficient is low, and the structure is greatly simplified.
