The invention discloses traffic monitoring equipment based on a traffic internet of things and a monitoring method thereof, belongs to the technical field of traffic detection, and aims to solve the problems that constant-speed cruise detection is inconvenient, real-time calibration is inconvenient, detection on some tiny distance changes is not sensitive enough, and detection errors are large easily. A double-end gear motor drives a first driving shaft to rotate so that a first rotating disc and a second rotating disc can rotate, multiple sets of transmission rollers between the first rotating disc and the second rotating disc drive a transmission toothed belt to rotate and enable a transmission gear to rotate, and finally a moving mechanism moves and runs on a track body. A first rotating disc and a second rotating disc are close to each other or far away from each other through extension or retraction of a telescopic air cylinder, and when the first rotating disc and the second rotating disc are close to each other, sliding blocks move outwards in sliding grooves, so that the radial distance between multiple sets of transmission rollers is increased, and constant-speed movement on a track main body is facilitated; and the speed is convenient to adjust.

    一种基于交通物联网的交通监测设备及其监测方法,属于交通检测技术领域,为解决不便于进行定速巡航检测,不便于实时的进行标定,以及对一些微小的间距变化检测不够灵敏,容易导致其检测误差较大的问题;本发明通过双头减速电机带动第一驱动轴转动进而使得第一转动盘和第二转动盘转动,第一转动盘和第二转动盘中间多组的传动辊带动传动齿带转动并使得传动齿轮转动,最终使得移动机构在轨道主体上移动运行,本发明中伸缩气缸的伸出或者缩回使得第一转动盘和第二转动盘相互靠近或者远离,第一转动盘和第二转动盘靠近的时候,使得滑块在滑槽内向外侧移动进而增加了多组传动辊之间的径向距离,便于在轨道主体上进行定速移动,且速度便于调节。
