A method, computing system and computer program product are provided for reducing floating wind turbine loads caused by ocean waves by adjusting a blade pitch angle of at least one rotor blade of a floating wind turbine, to minimize torque imbalance at the top of the platform of the floating wind turbine caused by ocean wave activity.
