The invention relates to a heat pipe (106) configured to be attached to a heat source inside an electric vehicle charging connector (100) for a vehicle (800). The heat pipe (106) comprises a metal heat receiving portion (107), a heat conducting portion and a heat dissipating portion (109). The heat pipe further comprises an insulating sleeve (121) surrounding the heat receiving portion (107), the insulating sleeve (121) configured to electrically insulate the metal heat receiving portion from the heat source.
