The wear monitoring system is used for a brake device of a motor, the brake device comprises a brake disc and a brake magnet, and the brake magnet can move relative to the brake disc so as to be switched between an attraction state and a separation state; the wear monitoring system comprises a fixedly arranged bracket, a plurality of sensors and a controller, the first arm part comprises a first free end part and is arranged to be linked with the brake magnet, so that the first free end part is always in contact with the bottom of the brake magnet; the second arm part is arranged to be linked with the first arm part and comprises a second free end part; and the trigger device comprises a trigger button, and the trigger button is triggered by the second free end of the second arm part when the abrasion loss of the brake magnet reaches a first threshold value or a multiple of the first threshold value and is smaller than a second threshold value and when the brake magnet and the brake disc are in an attraction state. A motor including such a wear monitoring system is also disclosed. An elevator comprising such a wear monitoring system or motor is also disclosed.
