The invention discloses an automobile body structure which is used for an automobile and comprises a B column assembly, a threshold assembly, a roof side rail assembly and a top cover middle cross beam which is connected with the roof side rail assembly and corresponds to the B column assembly in position, and the B column assembly comprises a B column reinforcing plate connected with the roof side rail assembly and the threshold assembly. The B column reinforcing plate comprises a hard area located on the upper portion, a soft area located on the lower portion and a transition area between the hard area and the soft area, and the B column assembly, the roof side rail assembly and the roof middle cross beam form an annular stress structure. The invention further discloses an automobile which comprises a chassis and the automobile body structure. According to the vehicle body structure disclosed by the invention, the structural strength of the B-pillar reinforcing plate follows a high-end-up distribution form, and when the vehicle body structure is subjected to side collision, the deformation of the lower part is larger than that of the upper part, namely, the lower end of the B-pillar reinforcing plate is in a pendulum type deformation mode that the joint of the upper end of the B-pillar reinforcing plate and the roof side rail assembly is taken as a circle center and the lower end of the B-pillar reinforcing plate is inwards wound and deformed; and the safety of drivers and passengers in the vehicle is improved.
