And a reinforcing layer (WB) is formed on the surface layer including the inner surface of each recess (24). The method for producing a foam molded article (W) forms a fiber layer by adhering and depositing charged short fibers on a cavity surface of a mold, compresses the fiber layer with a silicone rubber sheet, and then molds the foam molded article (W).
