The invention discloses a working condition identification system in the field of engineering machinery, and the system comprises an information collection module which is used for collecting various numerical values during the operation of an engineering vehicle; the safety evaluation module is used for evaluating the safety of the engineering vehicle during operation and giving an alarm; the operation data calculation module is used for performing real-time calculation on the pressure and the power of the engineering vehicle during operation; the economical efficiency calculation module is used for calculating fuel consumption of the engineering vehicle under different conditions per hundred kilometers; and the work adjusting module is used for identifying and adjusting the working condition of the engineering vehicle. According to the invention, the control center carries out working condition identification on the operation pressure, the operation speed and the power information fed back by the engineering vehicle, and carries out adjustment towards the optimal balance point of the operation speed, the power and the fuel consumption per hundred kilometers of the engineering vehicle, so that the operation working condition of the engineering vehicle can be identified and adjusted; the speed and the power of the engineering vehicle are reasonably adjusted, oil consumption can be effectively reduced, and operation cost is saved.
