The disclosure provides automatic detection of vehicle data manipulation and mechanical faults. Systems and methods for detecting and identifying vehicle anomalies are disclosed. Technologies for detecting and identifying the vehicle anomalies include receiving signals from various sensors, grouping the signals into detection sets, detecting anomalies by comparison to a vehicle behavior model, and cross-referencing the detection sets with each other to narrow and identify sources of the anomalies. The detection sets may be grouped such that aspects of vehicle maneuverability are captured and encompass causal relationships between different maneuverability mechanisms.
