The present invention relates to a docking system for an unmanned aerial vehicle and an operation method thereof, in which the docking system for the unmanned aerial vehicle comprises: a seating portion configured to land the unmanned aerial vehicle on the seating portion; the line is arranged on the placement part and is configured to enable the landing unmanned aerial vehicle to be hung on the line, so that the unmanned aerial vehicle can land on the placement part; and the tension adjuster is configured to adjust the tension of the wire, so that when the unmanned aerial vehicle is hung on the wire, the unmanned aerial vehicle lands at the target position of the placement part.
