The invention discloses an extended suspension arm for a hoisting transformer of a crane. The extended suspension arm comprises a pedestal, an extended arm, a hook and an induction system, the extension arm is tripod-shaped, and one end of the extension arm is mounted on the pedestal; the hook is fixedly mounted at the other end of the extension arm; the pedestal is used for being connected with a crane suspension arm. The sensing system comprises a controller, a distance sensor and a vibration sensor; the distance sensor and the vibration sensor are both arranged on the hook and electrically connected with the controller. By arranging the extension arm and the hook, direct contact between a crane suspension arm and a transformer can be avoided, enough safety distance between a crane and an electrified body is ensured, meanwhile, the hook is fixed to the extension arm, shaking of the hook can be reduced, and the problems that an existing crane hook is large in control difficulty, poor in precision and large in load swing are solved. And the control precision of the crane jib on the transformer is improved.
