The invention provides a composite cable and a composite wire harness which can realize diameter reduction and can suppress reduction of resistance against noise. A composite cable (10) of a composite wire harness (1) is provided with two power supply lines (2), one signal line unit (30), and an outer sheath (5) covering the peripheries of the two power supply lines (2) and the one signal line unit (30). The signal line unit (30) is provided with a plurality of pairs of signal lines (3) and an inner sheath (35) covering the periphery of a first assembly (11), and the first assembly (11) is formed by arranging the signal lines (3) in pairs at a pair of adjacent vertices of a polygon having an even number of vertices in a cross section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the signal line unit (30) and is integrally twisted. In the composite cable (10), the twisting direction of a second assembly (12) formed by twisting two power supply lines (2) and one signal line unit (30) is different from the twisting direction of a first assembly (11).
