The invention provides an endurance system and method of an electric vehicle. The endurance system comprises a vehicle-mounted battery pack, a vehicle control unit, an endurance battery pack, an automatic bidirectional control switch and a power generation unit, the first BMS is used for detecting the first SOC of the vehicle-mounted battery pack and sending the first SOC to the vehicle control unit; the vehicle control unit is used for comparing the first SOC with a first set value, and if the first SOC is smaller than the first set value, first control instruction information is generated; according to the first control instruction information, an automatic bidirectional control switch is controlled to be switched to an endurance battery pack to supply power to the vehicle; the power generation unit charges the endurance battery pack and/or the vehicle-mounted battery pack; seamless switching between the vehicle-mounted battery pack and the endurance battery pack can be achieved through the automatic bidirectional control switch, the endurance battery pack and/or the vehicle-mounted battery pack can be charged through the power generation unit, and the problem that the endurance of the vehicle-mounted battery pack is insufficient is solved.
本发明提供了电动车的续航系统和方法,包括车载电池包、整车控制器、续航电池包、自动双向控制开关和发电单元;第一BMS用于检测车载电池包的第一SOC,将第一SOC发送给整车控制器;整车控制器用于将第一SOC与第一设定值进行比较,如果第一SOC小于第一设定值时生成第一控制指令信息;根据第一控制指令信息控制自动双向控制开关切换到续航电池包对车辆供电;发电单元对续航电池包和、或车载电池包充电;通过自动双向控制开关可以实现车载电池包与续航电池包之间的无缝切换,且可以通过发电单元给续航电池包和、或车载电池包充电,解决了车载电池包的续航不足的问题。
