The invention discloses a highway traffic data storage and retrieval method based on transverse fusion of traffic marks, which is characterized by comprising the following steps of: 1, recording a traffic record generated when a highway goes to a portal frame; step 2, constructing a point-line relationship: constructing a transverse relationship: when the passage record in the step 1 is generated, establishing a timeline chain corresponding to the passage medium on the basis of the passage mark, associating all passage records on the timeline of the passage medium by taking the passage mark of the passage medium as key information, and representing one passage record at each point; and constructing a longitudinal fusion relationship: on the basis of completion of construction of the transverse relationship, constructing a longitudinal fusion relationship for recording the passing marks and the passing records, including portal information, a record ID of the passing records generated by the portal, and the position of the passing records in the constructed transverse relationship. By using the data, the efficiency of transverse data retrieval and longitudinal data retrieval is higher in an application scene of a clearing settlement system.
