In general, a suspension system for a wheel of a vehicle is disclosed. The system may include at least one pair of arms, each pair of arms including a first arm and a second arm. Each of a first arm and a second arm of the at least one pair of arms may have a first end adapted to be rotatably connected to a wheel docking device and a second end adapted to be rotatably connected to a reference frame of a vehicle, while the first arm and the second arm may be set to cross each other, and a movable steering axis is defined at a virtual intersection between the first arm and the second arm such that the movable steering axis moves relative to the reference frame when the wheel docking device changes a steering angle of the wheel docking device relative to the reference frame.
