The invention belongs to the technical field of aircraft structures, and particularly relates to a method for determining a fault load of an undercarriage cabin door retracting and releasing mechanism, which comprises the following steps: determining the positions of a rocker arm (2) and an actuator cylinder (1) through the position of a third hinge point when the retracting and releasing mechanism is damaged, and establishing a force balance equation of the actuator cylinder (1); the acting force of the second hinge point is determined on the basis of the acting force of the actuator cylinder (1), a force balance equation of the rocker arm (2) is established, the acting force of the first hinge point is determined on the basis of the acting force of the second hinge point, the defects of a finite element method commonly used at present are overcome, and calculation is simpler and more convenient; in addition, the fault load can be quickly determined by using the method, and the damage condition of other structural parts can be determined, so that the fault processing progress is greatly advanced.
