The invention discloses a fault diagnosis method of a cold start emission reduction system and a vehicle thereof. The method confirms a change in torque reserve compared to a torque reserve confirmed for ignition timing at cold start by any one of operation of an electrical load device, operation of an alternator, operation of a purge valve, operation of an air conditioner, a shift state of a transmission, and a coolant temperature state of an engine, and determining a failure or normality of any one of an electrical load device, an alternator, a purge valve, and an air conditioner using a change in the torque reserve to apply a determination result to determine whether the cold start E/M reduction system is abnormal, thereby ensuring accuracy of failure diagnosis of components for cold start E/M reduction.

    一种冷启动排放减少系统的故障诊断方法及其车辆,该方法通过电气负载装置的操作、交流发电机的操作、净化阀的操作、空调器的操作、变速器的档位状态和发动机的冷却剂温度状态中的任一种来确认与冷启动时针对点火正时所确认的扭矩储备相比的扭矩储备的变化,并且使用扭矩储备的变化来确认电气负载装置、交流发电机、净化阀和空调器中的任一项的故障或正常,以将确认结果应用于确定冷启动E/M减少系统是否异常,从而确保用于冷启动E/M减少的部件的故障诊断的准确性。
