In this hybrid control method, a hybrid vehicle is controlled such that power is generated by a generator motor connected to an internal combustion engine via a gear mechanism when the internal combustion engine is in a combustion state, and such that assistance is performed by the intake negative pressure of the internal combustion engine when a brake is operated. In the hybrid control method, the control unit sets the engine rotational speed at which the gear rattling noise generated in the gear mechanism in the combustion state does not become a problem in the vehicle quality as a rotational speed threshold value, and when negative pressure needs to be generated in the combustion state in which the engine rotational speed is greater than or equal to the rotational speed threshold value, the control unit controls the engine to rotate. In a combustion state, the engine rotation speed is maintained and negative pressure is generated. In addition, when negative pressure is required in a combustion state in which the engine rotational speed is less than a rotational speed threshold value, the control unit generates negative pressure by switching from the combustion state to a motor operation state in which the internal combustion engine is rotated by the generator motor.

    本发明的混合动力控制方法对混合动力车辆进行如下控制,即,在内燃机处于燃烧状态时,利用经由齿轮机构而与内燃机连接的发电电机进行发电,并且,在制动器工作时,进行利用内燃机的进气负压的辅助。在该混合动力控制方法中,控制部将在燃烧状态下在齿轮机构产生的打齿声在车辆品质方面不会成为问题的发动机旋转速度,设定为旋转速度阈值,在发动机旋转速度大于或等于旋转速度阈值的燃烧状态下需要生成负压的情况下,在燃烧状态下维持该发动机旋转速度且生成负压。另外,在发动机旋转速度小于旋转速度阈值的燃烧状态下需要负压的情况下,控制部从燃烧状态向利用发电电机使内燃机旋转的电机运转状态切换而生成负压。
