The power distribution unit comprises a control unit, a positive direct-current bus end, a negative direct-current bus end, a first power supply positive input end, a first power supply negative input end, a second power supply positive input end, a second power supply negative input end, a first controllable switch and a second controllable switch, wherein the positive direct-current bus end is electrically connected with the first power supply positive input end and the second power supply positive input end, and the negative direct-current bus end is electrically connected with the first power supply negative input end and the second power supply negative input end; the first controllable switch is electrically connected between the positive direct-current bus end and the first power supply positive input end; and the second controllable switch is electrically connected between the positive direct-current bus end and the second power supply positive input end. By adopting a direct-current side double-circuit power supply and common-bus power supply mode, the requirement of a heavy-load vehicle for the battery capacity is reduced, meanwhile, the charging frequency of a battery is reduced, and electric popularization of the heavy-load vehicle is facilitated.
