The invention relates to an air cavity shelf which is made of a composite material and comprises an air cavity bottom plate, an air cavity isolation plate isolated from the air cavity bottom plate, a first cross beam and a second cross beam respectively attached to two sides of the air cavity bottom plate, an air blocking plate attached to the air cavity isolation plate and the air cavity bottom plate, and an air cavity connector attached to the air cavity isolation plate; and the air cavity bottom plate, the air cavity isolation plate, the first cross beam, the second cross beam and the air blocking plate enclose the air guiding channel. By means of the composite material air cavity shelf, the weight of an electronic equipment rack and the weight of the air cavity shelf can be reduced, the number of part connecting fasteners and the additional weight of a transition area are reduced, the assembly process is shortened, veneering and corner filling sealing between parts are not needed, the process difficulty is lowered, and the problem of ventilation leakage is solved to the maximum extent; and the air leakage quantity of the air cavity is reduced. The invention further relates to a method for manufacturing the air cavity shelf and an electronic equipment rack comprising the air cavity shelf.
