The coaxial axle comprises an axle housing and two driving half shafts and further comprises a main motor, an auxiliary motor, a speed reducer and a differential mechanism, the main motor and the auxiliary motor are connected in series and then connected with the speed reducer, the speed reducer is connected with the differential mechanism, and a transmission shaft of the main motor, a transmission shaft of the auxiliary motor and the two driving half shafts are coaxially arranged. Transmission shafts of the main motor and the auxiliary motor are of hollow structures, one driving half shaft is directly connected with the differential mechanism, and the other driving half shaft penetrates through the hollow structures to be connected with the differential mechanism. According to the coaxial axle system, the optimal power output of the whole vehicle under all working conditions can be achieved through coupling of the double motors, the system always works in the optimal efficiency area, and the endurance mileage of the whole vehicle is increased; in addition, due to the coaxial arrangement of the double motors and the transmission shaft, the ground clearance of the axle can be reduced to the maximum extent, and the low-floor high-end design of the whole vehicle is facilitated.
